Sweet Relief.

I was not prepared.

I am very responsible. I try to plan for every single thing that could possibly, maybe happen. But, I was in no way prepared for life post-grad. I remember the days when I had shifts at work?? Now, it's just work. All. The. Time. Not that I mind my job, because I really don't! I'm blessed to work with great guys and get steady hours with great pay but man, it wears on the soul sometimes.

Luckily, there is a cure. It's called laughter. I got a break this weekend when my husband and two of my college roommates concocted a plan to surprise me (the un-surprisable.) Us girls were reunited for less than 24 hours, but I felt like it gave me days of my life back. It is true, laughter is the best medicine. What a wonderful day, a wonderful time of looking back on the memories we made and a wonderful time of talking about the future...and of course, drinking some beer. ;)

Thank you, girls. And thank you, sweet husband. For giving me a little break. I am so lucky to have friends to pick me up and dust me off and get me back to being myself.

  1. Hey Bon! It's a patch at a Methodist church in countryside? I think it's on the corner of 580 & Landmark. :)
